A little while ago Darren Joe was kind enough to interview me for his podcast – and now here it is, posted on his site, and in several other places such as Spotify and Youtube.
I had forgotten the details of our conversation, but Darren is an excellent editor and he has marked up the various sections, so if one of these topics is of particular interest to you, you can scroll forward and listen to just that bit ...

Darren has interests close to my heart. He has written a great book supporting one-person start-up businesses, The Fail-Safe Solopreneur, and he loves to dance, in his case salsa.
Salsa, like Lindy hop, is a partner dance. Until relatively recently partner and group dancing were mainstream activities all over the world. Everyday dancing wasn't competitive, it wasn't for showing off on TikTok, it wasn't just for brilliant dancers. People didn't think about it too much, they just danced with each other.
If you do think about it, as modern people are wont to do, you may realise that partner dancing is much more than good exercise. It brings people together physically, emotionally and safely. It is good for the heart, for the soul and for society. But don't just think about it. Experience it. There is more to it than can be captured in writing.
I have a suggestion: Click here to listen to some, or all, or just a few minutes, of our podcast - then go and find someone to dance with.
Hugh Willbourn is the author of "The Bug in our Thinking and the way to fix it".
According to a recent review, "Willbourn’s book is exceptionally accessibly and clearly written—a marvel of non-professional-academic, or real, philosophy."
